Todd Nightingale is the Chief Executive Officer of Fastly. He assumed the role of CEO and joined the Fastly Board of Directors in September 2022.
Todd has spent more than 20 years making the internet a better place. He previously served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Networking and Cloud at Cisco Systems, Inc. Todd is known for his passionate technology leadership and his vision of powerful, simple solutions for businesses, schools, and governments.
Prior to Fastly, Todd served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco Meraki where his focus on delivering a simple, secure, digital workplace led to the expansion and growth of the Meraki portfolio, making it the largest cloud-managed networking platform in the world at the time.
He previously held engineering and senior management positions at AirDefense, where he was responsible for product development and guided the company through a successful acquisition by Motorola.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and a Master's degree in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Artur Bergman is a Fastly co-founder, its Chief Technology Officer, and a member of its Board of Directors. Since co-founding Fastly in 2011, Artur has helped shepherd the company’s evolution in a variety of roles including Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
Prior to co-founding Fastly, Artur held a number of leadership and management roles, including Chief Technology Officer of Wikia, Inc., a global community knowledge-sharing platform, Engineering Manager for SixApart Ltd., a social networking service, and Fotango, Ltd., a subsidiary of Canon Europe.
Kip Compton is the Chief Product Officer of Fastly and brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience driving innovation in cloud, video, Internet of Things (IoT) and networking.
Prior to joining Fastly, Kip served as the senior vice president of strategy of the Cisco Networking business at Cisco where he led teams responsible for strategy, portfolio management, investments and acquisitions.
Kip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and a Master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA degree from the Wharton School. He also holds multiple patents in the areas of digital video, security, and networking.
Andrew heads up the developer relations strategy for Fastly, working with developers across the world to help make the web faster, more secure, more reliable and easier to work with. He founded a web consultancy startup that spent a decade working on innovative web projects for media clients including the Financial Times, News International and the Economist group, before being acquired by the FT in 2012.
At the FT he led the team that created their pioneering mobile web app, and founded the FT’s Labs and UI component divisions. More recently he was elected a member of the W3C Technical Architecture Group, a committee of nine people who guide the development of the World Wide Web.
Early in his career, Andrew also worked at the UK’s national air traffic control service during 9/11, founded, grew and successfully sold a web mapping startup, and planned and developed a web-based national logistics information network in Zimbabwe.
Liam M. Mayron, Ph.D., CISSP is a Staff Product Manager for security products at Fastly. He has launched new enterprise and SaaS products in managed security, security services, cloud application security, and network security analytics domains. He was also a Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology where he created a new graduate cybersecurity degree program. He received his Ph.D. and B.S. degrees in computer engineering from Florida Atlantic University and his M.S. degree in the same field from the University of Florida. His Ph.D. dissertation, “Image Retrieval Using Visual Attention”, developed a hybrid content-based, collaborative filtering query method for searching for images.
Dominic Fee leads Fastly's Observability product line as Sr. Manager of Product Management. He co-founded ReSRC, the responsive image service that Fastly acquired in 2015.
Before ReSRC, he worked as a product engineering consultant, helping clients such as BBVA, Sky Sports, and Warner Music deliver high-performing front-end applications.
He is a graduate of the University of Huddersfield with a Bachelor's Degree in Computing in Business and Information Technology.
Hossein Lotfi is the VP of Engineering leading Edge Systems Organization at Fastly. Hossein has over 20 years of experience building networks and large-scale systems ranging from startups to hyper-scale cloud infrastructure. He has scaled multiple engineering organizations geared towards rapid development and novel innovations.
He firmly believes in the compounding effect of having experts in every part of the stack working together to build innovative solutions for intricate scalability and efficiency challenges. Hossein’s engineering leadership style is rooted in deep involvement with the state of production systems.
At Fastly, Hossein is responsible for building reliable, cost-effective, and low-latency systems at the edge that deliver network services to our customers. He oversees the following engineering groups: Traffic Engineering (Egress and Ingress), Edge Delivery Platform (Varnish, CacheD), Kernel and DataPath (XDP), Edge Protocols (e.g. TLS, QUIC), Layer 7 load balancing (H2O), Hardware Engineering and Network Architecture.
Godwill is a Senior Security Strategist EMEA at Fastly, working for the company's Technology Specialist Group, which provides in-depth technical and industry expertise for large, complex customer projects. Prior to joining Fastly, Godwill has held a number of consulting and advisory positions across the security industry including Cisco Systems, Symantec, and more recently GitLab. Godwill brings over two decades of industry experience in the field of information security to Fastly, where his role is to increase industry focus and visibility on the Fastly Edge platform.
Jay Coley is a Sr. Manager for the Technology Specialist Group (TSG) at Fastly. After spending time in the US Military, he started his security career at Prolexic Technologies - the first full cloud DDoS mitigation platform. He then worked in various roles at Akamai Technologies and more recently Trend Micro. Jay Coley brings over 25 years of security experience to Fastly, where his role is to increase industry focus and visibility on the Fastly Edge platform.
Ines Sombra is a VP of Engineering at Fastly, where she spends her time helping the Web go faster. Ines holds an M.S. in Computology with an emphasis on Cheesy 80’s Rock Ballads. She has a fondness for steak, fernet, and running after a toddler who won't stay put. Follow Ines @randommood.
Abraham Ingersoll is accountable for Information Security within THG Ingenuity, where Fastly is used extensively to help leading brands sell online, internationally, via end-to-end technology, global fulfilment and digital performance solutions. Prior he was VP of Solutions Engineering at Teleport, Senior Director of Engineering at Ticketmaster LiveNation, Co-Founder of a YCombinator-funded startup and a Principal Engineer on Betfair's platform SRE team. Outside of his professional realm, Abe's an avid baker & triathlete raising three American daughters in England's North West.
Yann Hamon is a Senior Staff Engineer at Contentful, a leading content management platform serving digital teams worldwide. With Contentful's APIs handling billions of requests daily, powering the online presence of around 30% of Fortune 500 companies, Yann ensures platform reliability, performance, and scalability. He specializes in serverless and edge computing, driving operational efficiencies. Previously at Planet Labs, Yann contributed to building a robust satellite image processing pipeline. He also actively develops infrastructure-focused open-source software like Kubeconform and Redis-dump-go to enhance developer experiences.
Patrick is a Senior Principal Engineer in Fastly’s Core Systems engineering group, where he oversees the architecture of their control plane systems. Prior to joining Fastly, he helped architect some of the world’s largest media websites, including The Guardian and the Financial Times. When not speaking or ranting about performance, he enjoys spending time with his family and discovering new places and food.
For the past 25 years, Ariel has been working in all aspects of the IT world. Managing AS1680 (one of the first ISP networks in the world), building data centers pre-cloud era, running all-cloud native operations and back to hybrid solutions. Today, Ariel leads a group of IT professionals that work to implement state-of-the-art solutions, from Open Source to home grown to traditional enterprise software, across Taboola's global infrastructure.
